Our passion for the use of natural materials and traditional building techniques complements an enthusiasm for sustainable building methods and is a cornerstone of our approach to the refurbishment of old buildings and the design of new buildings.

 - so said William Morris, who was speaking about ancient buildings over a hundred years ago but whose words can today be applied to our fragile planet as a whole.

Having successfully completed the conversion and restoration of many old buildings, The Architecture Studio team has developed special expertise in ways of upgrading the energy efficiency of historic buildings whilst retaining their intrinsic architectural character.
