Meet the Team
Trevor Hewett has a wealth of experience built up across a diverse portfolio of architectural commissions over more than thirty years as an architect. As principal designer in the practice, he works closely with each client, blending innovative design with sound practical knowledge to create the right design for each building project.

Toby lives in Ludlow and joined the practice in 2021. He has over 15 years’ experience as a qualified architect working in design-led practices around the country. With this experience Toby has gained an extensive knowledge of the building process and enjoys taking schemes from concept through to the completion of the building. He is comfortable working at different scales and on both traditional and modern building types which have ranged in value from £50k up to £21million.

Sheila joined the practice in 2011 and became a partner in 2012. With qualifications in business management and human resources, she ensures the smooth running of the office, providing administrative support to the architectural team.
Sheila Thackwray
Partner & Practice Manager
Juliette joined the team in July 2021 as a project architect, and has primarily been involved in our domestic renovations and extensions, with a focus on listed buildings and heritage refurbishment works. Her background in high rise residential and retail projects as well as high end residential refurbishment projects in central London give her a good eye for detail and experience of delivering projects on a variety of scales and budgets.

Louis joined The Architecture Studio in the summer of 2018 after first coming along on work experience from Hereford College of Art. He has since gone on to achieve his Part I qualification through an Architectural Apprenticeship at London South Bank University.

Jack Neale
Architectural Assistant BA(Hons)
Jack joined the studio in summer 2022, after graduating from the Birmingham School of Architecture and Design. He has previously achieved qualifications in carpentry, while working for a bespoke joinery firm, and looks to develop his practical and technical knowledge.
Louise joined the team as Administrator in 2017, and works weekday mornings. She studied Business Administration at Ludlow College and has worked in various administration roles as Customer Service Supervisor, Deputy Procurement Supervisor, and for an international publication company.
